    Al-Janad University for Science and Technology has concluded a three-day specialized training workshop on “Developing Operational Plans for the University and Administrative Units Using the Balanced Scorecard and Institutional Accreditation Standards.” Organized by the Center for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance, the workshop was held under the auspices of Prof. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati, President of the University, with broad participation from academic and administrative leaders.

    The closing session was attended by Dr. Ameen Al-Haidari, Secretary-General of the University; Prof. Abdulqawi Noman, Dean of Academic Affairs; college deans; administrative directors; and heads of academic and administrative departments. All participants were honored in recognition of their engagement and contributions throughout the training program.

    The workshop aimed to strengthen participants’ capacity to develop operational plans using the Balanced Scorecard, link strategic objectives with programs, activities, and performance indicators, and align operational planning with institutional accreditation requirements to improve institutional performance and support comprehensive quality.

    The program included training sessions and practical exercises focused on developing measurable and implementable operational plans and establishing mechanisms for performance monitoring and evaluation. These activities were designed to strengthen the integration of planning, implementation, and follow-up while supporting the university’s drive toward institutional excellence and the achievement of its strategic objectives in line with current best practices in management, quality assurance, and academic accreditation.
