    The Center for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance at Al-Janad University for Science and Technology today launched a three-day specialized training workshop on “Developing Operational Plans for the University and Administrative Units Using the Balanced Scorecard and Institutional Accreditation Standards.” The workshop is held under the auspices of Prof. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati, President of the University, with broad participation from academic and administrative leaders.

    The launch was attended by Dr. Ameen Al-Haidari, Secretary-General of the University, along with college deans, the Dean of Student Affairs, administrative directors, and heads of academic and administrative departments. The workshop reflects the university’s focus on strengthening institutional planning and linking operational performance with its strategic objectives and quality and accreditation requirements.

    Dr. Al-Haidari stressed the importance of institutional planning and developing clear, measurable, and implementable operational plans based on accurate performance indicators and aligned with institutional accreditation and quality assurance requirements. He also called on participants to make effective use of the workshop and apply its outcomes within their respective units.

    Prof. Sameer Al-Asbahi, Dean of the Center for Academic Development and Quality Assurance, explained that the workshop aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to develop operational plans using the Balanced Scorecard, link strategic objectives with programs, activities, and performance indicators, and incorporate institutional accreditation requirements into the plans of different university units.

    The three-day workshop includes training sessions and practical exercises designed to produce clearer and more effective operational plans and strengthen the integration of planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation in support of institutional excellence and quality outcomes.
