Al-Janad University for Science and Technology has concluded a two-day training workshop on “Preparing Operational Plans for Academic Programs in Line with Program Accreditation Standards and the Balanced Scorecard,” organized by the Center for Academic Development and Quality Assurance under the auspices of Prof. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati, President of the University.
The workshop brought together college deans, heads and coordinators of academic programs, and teaching assistants. It covered the fundamentals of program accreditation, standards analysis and classification, operational planning, review of previous plans, and mechanisms for monitoring and continuous improvement.
Prof. Al-Qubati stressed the importance of developing operational plans that meet quality assurance and academic accreditation requirements, enhance institutional performance, and support the university’s strategic objectives.
The sessions were led by Prof. Sameer Al-Asbahi, Dean of the Center for Academic Development and Quality Assurance; Dr. Mohammed Al-Wahabi, Dean of Student Affairs; and Dr. Abdullah Al-Asbahi, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
The workshop concluded with the honoring of participants in the presence of Prof. Al-Qubati and Prof. Abdulqawi Noman, Dean of Academic Affairs. The university’s terminology for the Center and accreditation-related activities is consistent with its established English usage.
