External Reviewer Training Program Continues at Al-Janad University

Activities continued at Al-Janad University for Science and Technology as part of the Training and Qualification Program for External Reviewers of Higher Education Institutions and Academic Programs in Yemen, organized by the Academic Accreditation Council for Higher Education Quality Assurance under the auspices of Prof. Ameen Noman Al-Qadsi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and supervised by Prof. Sawsan Bakhubirah, Chair of the Council.

The program's fourth day featured two specialized training sessions. The first, "Skills of the External Reviewer," was delivered by Prof. Anisa Dukum. The session focused on strengthening participants' professional competencies and enhancing their ability to conduct external reviews in accordance with nationally approved academic quality standards.

The second session, presented by Prof. Abdulraqib Al-Samawi, focused on External Review Procedures, providing participants with practical guidance on conducting institutional review visits and preparing professional evaluation reports that support quality assurance and academic accreditation processes.

The program brings together university college deans, academics, and quality assurance experts from public and private universities across Yemen as part of a national initiative to develop qualified external reviewers and strengthen institutional capacity in academic evaluation and accreditation.
