Al-Janad Continues Hosting National External Reviewer Training Program to Advance Higher Education Quality

Al-Janad University for Science and Technology continues to host the Training and Qualification Program for External Reviewers of Higher Education Institutions and Academic Programs in Yemen, held under the auspices of Prof. Ameen Noman Al-Qadsi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and supervised by Prof. Sawsan Bakhubirah, Chair of the Academic Accreditation Council for Higher Education Quality Assurance.

The program brings together more than 50 academics and higher education experts from universities across Yemen, providing them with specialized knowledge and practical skills in external review and the evaluation of academic programs and institutions in accordance with nationally approved quality assurance and accreditation standards. The initiative aims to develop a cadre of qualified national reviewers capable of supporting institutional development and advancing the quality of higher education throughout the country.

The week-long program features a series of lectures and hands-on workshops covering academic evaluation methodologies, external review procedures, and best practices in quality assurance and continuous improvement within higher education institutions.

Al-Janad University expressed its pride in hosting this national initiative, emphasizing that it reflects the university's growing academic standing and its commitment to supporting quality assurance and academic accreditation.
