The Department of Accounting and Finance at the College of Administrative Sciences and Humanities, Al-Janad University for Science and Technology, has launched a field training program for third-year students at the Taiz Finance Office as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen practical learning and align academic outcomes with labor market requirements.
The month-long training program is organized in student groups, providing participants with hands-on experience in a professional financial environment and exposing them to accounting and financial practices across various departments and administrative units.
Dr. Muadh Al-Maqtari, Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance, emphasized that field training is a fundamental component of the educational process, enabling students to develop practical competencies, enhance their professional knowledge, and acquire the skills needed to meet the demands of today's workplace.
The initiative reflects the department's commitment to preparing highly qualified graduates by expanding practical training opportunities in public, private, and mixed-sector institutions, thereby strengthening students' professional readiness and facilitating their successful transition into the labor market after graduation.
