Al-Janad University for Science and Technology participated in the Development, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability Exhibition for entrepreneurial, small, and micro-enterprise projects, organised by Taiz Office of Industry and Trade under the auspices of Taiz Governor Nabil Shamsan.

The exhibition, inaugurated on Tuesday, brought together entrepreneurs, university students, and women leading productive enterprises. A number of students from the university presented innovative projects and ideas, some already operational and others still under development, reflecting the ability of young people and women to transform ideas and skills into productive ventures that support the local economy and create employment opportunities.

The university’s pavilion attracted considerable public interest, as the projects on display demonstrated students’ forward-looking approach to labour market demands through student-developed digital applications and e-commerce initiatives.

The opening ceremony was attended by Taiz Deputy Governor Arif Jamel, alongside several senior officials, business leaders, and representatives of civil society organisations.
