The third volleyball championship at Al-Janad University for Science and Technology continues with strong student participation, organised by the Student Activities Department under the auspices of University President Mohyeddine Al-Qubati.
The group stage brought together 19 teams across six groups, with matches characterised by a high level of competitiveness and intensity. Eight teams have progressed to the quarter-finals following closely contested performances.
The semi-finals are scheduled for Thursday afternoon, with Third-Year Accounting set to face Fourth-Year Information Technology, while Third-Year Marketing Communications will meet First-Year Architecture in two decisive fixtures to determine the finalists.
The tournament is set to conclude next week with the final match, where the champions of the university’s third volleyball championship will be crowned, in an atmosphere that fosters sporting excellence, competition, and student engagement.
