Al-Janad University Marks Prophet’s Birthday with Cultural Event

Al-Janad University’s Deanship of Student Affairs held a cultural event on Thursday to commemorate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), under the theme “The Prophetic Life… Lessons and Reflections.”

The program featured a lecture by Sheikh Abdulhafidh Al-Shaibani, who highlighted key aspects of the Prophet’s life as a model of morality, leadership, and compassion. He emphasized the importance of unity, Islamic values, and preserving the spiritual essence of the occasion, cautioning against its misuse for narrow political or sectarian agendas.

The event drew faculty, staff, and students, who engaged with the lecture through questions and reflections. Organizers said the initiative aimed to strengthen students’ awareness of the Prophet’s example and promote a deeper understanding of the values of Islam.
