The College of Engineering and Information Technology at Al-Janad University recently hosted an academic examination highlighting an outstanding graduation project by students from the Department of Networks and Cybersecurity.
The project, titled Blockchain-Based Voting System, highlights the potential of blockchain technology to transform the voting process by ensuring enhanced transparency, security, and credibility, while minimizing the risk of fraud and manipulation.
This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to fostering innovation, advancing scientific research, and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application—particularly in the rapidly evolving fields of cybersecurity and digital transformation.
The project was supervised by Dr. Sabri Al-Shaibani, Head of the Department, and Dr. Basheer Al-Tayyar. The examination panel also included Dr. Abdulraqib Ghalib, Dean of the College; Eng. Arwa Al-Absi; and Eng. Mohammed Sultan.
The session featured lively discussions and valuable feedback, underscoring the students’ high level of preparation and their ability to leverage modern technologies to address contemporary cybersecurity challenges.
