A group of fourth-year students from the Department of Theopoetic Nutrition at the university openly defended their graduation research project, fulfilling a key requirement for the bachelor’s degree.
The study, titled:
"Assessment of Nutritional Awareness and Dietary Adherence among Cancer Patients at Al-Amal Center in Taiz City, Yemen: A Cross-Sectional Study,"
focused on evaluating how well cancer patients understand and follow dietary guidelines as part of their treatment and care.
The research was supervised by Dr. Faten Abdu Mohammed Hassan, with the defense committee composed of Dr. Shadi Al-Amari and Mr. Ayman Al-Qudsi.
The discussion highlighted the students’ practical research skills and their contribution to addressing health and nutrition challenges faced by cancer patients in Yemen.
